A collective of spirited individuals, committed to living their best life, exploring the endless wonder of the great outdoors.

ANASAZI

The ANASAZI Chapter, founded February 1, 1997, is made up of members from the greater Phoenix, Arizona metro area and surrounding cities. Named after the Anasazi Native Americans, who once inhabited Arizona, the chapter currently boasts 30 member Recreational Vehicles (RV’s), the maximum allowed by the chapter, meeting for monthly rallies from September through May. The chapter prides itself in having “active” members, with every member having attended at least three rallies each year as well as co-hosting at least one rally during the past year, required by the chapter to maintain active membership.  Monthly rallies are held at various interesting locations in Arizona, mixing sites between those with hookups and some with dry camping only, and, generally, one rally a year is a “rolling rally”, taking participants to three or four destinations. We do welcome guests and if you are interested in the ANASAZI Chapter just give the President, Larry Morrison a call.  CONTACT INFORMATION:

SOUTHERN ARIZONA

We currently have 35 member coaches with about 15 to 20 RVs at each rally. Rallies usually start on the first Thursday of the month, ending on Sunday. We rally October through April. Our rallies are held in Southern Arizona from Yuma to Safford and from Casa Grande to Douglas and points in between. We enjoy fellowship, good food, fun, crafts, entertainment, and tours of interesting places near a rally site. During 2009 we began knitting or crocheting hats, scarves and mittens for the Tucson Salvation Army’s Operation Deep Freeze. We donated seventy items and will continue this project indefinitely. We support Rocky Mountain Area Rallies as well as International Conventions, usually having several member coaches at each meeting. We welcome visitors at our rallies.

WEEKENDERS

One of the benefits of belonging to FMCA is belonging to a local chapter. I would like to tell you a little about our chapter. It was formed in 1993 by a group of working members who basically had only weekends to enjoy their motor homes, hence the name WEEKENDERS. We hold rallies once a month from September to May, they are held within the state of Arizona. Some of our rallies have been at Apache Gold Casino in Globe, Florence, Lost Dutchman State Park, Payson, Lake Pleasant, Benson, and the local county parks.

We enjoy spending time with fellow members, playing games, walks, crafts, pot lucks, fellowship, and happy hour.

If you are looking for a local chapter to join please consider the Weekenders chapter.
