Wayne Cernie
President, RMMA
My wife (Betty) and I have been members of FMCA for over 15 years and we currently belong to three FMCA Chapters, The ANASAZI Chapter, the California Chapter, and the Las Vegas Blackjack’s Chapter. In the ANASAZI Chapter I have held the positions of VP of Communications, Membership Chairperson, and Chapter President. My wife and I have enjoyed hosting or co-hosting more than 20 Chapter rallies. We really feel strongly that the Chapters are the best part of FMCA.

Allen Evans
Vice President, RMMA Region 2
We began our journey with FRVA in 2023, buying a Class A Motorhome. Since then, we’ve been deeply involved. Before becoming Region 2 VP, we served as Vendor Co-Captains for the 31st RMMA Ramble in Farmington, NM. Allen was recently elected Chapter President of the Vegas Blackjacks, and Shonda is the Alternate National Director.
Allen continues to work full-time for Microsoft and Shonda is a full-time Grammy to their four grandkids along with managing their crafting company. We enjoy traveling and encouraging others to live in the moment.
We are committed to supporting Region Chapters in achieving their goals of retaining current members and expanding membership.

I am a 3rd generation native of Phoenix, Arizona (since 1906) and currently reside in Glendale with my husband, Albert of 34 years, we have one son, Ashton. We are fur parents to 2 standard poodles, Shelby (12) and Sadie (3) who enjoy traveling with us. I have worked with Advanced Electronic Diagnostics, Inc. (specializing in the automotive industry), Sperry Aerospace (now a division of Honeywell) and US WEST Direct in the Yellow Page division. I retired from the business world to be a stay at home mom. I homeschooled our son, then became president of the parent organization for his high school. He is graduating this May as a dentist and we are proud parents. We own and operate ARG Construction, doing commercial construction, and have been in business since 1991.
We began with a pull behind trailer and then purchased our first motorhome (a Rexhall Rexair, gas class A) in 2009 and proceeded to hit the road. Our first adventure included Albert and I, our son, our two dogs at that time and my parents all in the motorhome and we went to South Dakota to visit Albert’s family and the motorhome has made the trip each year since. In 2018 we purchased a 2006 Mandalay Diesel pusher and we continue to travel in what we affectionately refer to as our “rolling castle”. This year we added a Roadmaster and now pull our F150 Diesel Truck. One of our favorite trips was to Bryce, Zion, Jackson Hole, Tetons and Yellowstone. Looking ahead we would love to go to the East coast and take our time visiting historic places and scenic as well as the iconic Alaska RV Trip.
We joined FMCA in 2018 (suggested by the Tire dealer) and we joined the Anasazi Chapter in 2019. We have enjoyed many adventures with the group as well as meeting some terrific friends. I am currently the VP/Rallymaster, setting up locations for a rally the first weekend of each month with the exception of summer. Last year I added to our rally calendar, day trips during the summer months for those who brave the heat and stay in state.
I enjoy teaching, reading, travel – especially in my home state of Arizona, planning and organizing adventures and have recently begun doing diamond dot art (thanks to FMCA convention craft classes). Kayaking is on my list of things to learn – this summer!
I love the quote by Roy Bennett, “always find opportunities to make someone smile, and to offer random acts of kindness in everyday life.”
As well as the great Ralph Waldo Emerson, “for every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness.”
Most people don’t know that I am married to a former Mayor who served for 11 years and was the youngest Mayor ever elected at that time at the age of 19 or that during college I was named “Ms Future Business Executive for the state of Arizona”.
