Region 2 Chapters

★ Allen Evans – Region 2 Vice President

We began our journey with FRVA in 2023, buying a Class A Motorhome. Since then, we’ve been deeply involved. Before becoming Region 2 VP, we served as Vendor Co-Captains for the 31st RMMA Ramble in Farmington, NM. Allen was recently elected Chapter President of the Vegas Blackjacks, and Shonda is the Alternate National Director.

Allen continues to work full-time for Microsoft and Shonda is a full-time Grammy to their four grandkids along with managing their crafting company.  We enjoy traveling and encouraging others to live in the moment.

We are committed to supporting Region Chapters in achieving their goals of retaining current members and expanding membership.

RED ROCK ROVERS

The local chapter serving Southwestern Utah holds four rallies a year – summer, fall, winter, and spring. Rallies are generally held during the week. The chapter has a membership cap of 40 rigs and we get a large percentage of our members out at each rally. Our principles for operation are as follows:   1. Chapter Focus – travel, fun, and companionship 2. Rallies – less often, more distant to new places than the traditional close-by monthly schedule of many other chapters (four or five rallies per year) – Living in St. George, Utah we can travel all four seasons. We will go south in the winter and to the north and/or mountains in the summer 3. Meetings – as necessary but informal, infrequent, no pomp, no rituals (One required per year) – Meetings will generally be scheduled in the morning after breakfast so as not to interfere with the day’s activities or at our annual dinner party. 4. Activities – are organized and adventuresome with little emphasis on sitting in camp other than the evening campfire or after dinner gathering. We will plan some activities or events that will include costs or fees. Obviously, events with costs will be optional. 5. Hosting – everyone participates in planned meals and accepting responsibilities. There is no traditional hosting assignment where a couple is assigned to plan the rally, prepare meals and host activities for everyone. What is expected is that we will all share the duties when asked and at each rally   Chapter Rallies have been far and wide. In the past few years we have traveled to Durango, Colorado; Jackson Hole, Wyoming; San Diego, California; Lone Pine, California; Benson, Arizona; Quartzsite, Arizona; Star Valley, Wyoming; and Moab, Utah.

RMC COACHERS

We are a Country Coach club which was established in 2003 in Tucson. We are not only a fun club with lots of new rally adventures, but welcome new Motorcoach members who will enjoy a group that is friendly and welcoming. Please visit our web site: https://rockymountaincountrycoachers.wildapricot.org (or just search for Rocky Mountain Country Coachers). We have three to four rallies per year normally in the Rocky Mountain area. Our membership consists of approximately 60 members homebased from New Mexico to Washington and every state in-between. Our annual meeting is the first quarter of each year with about two others usually the beginning of summer and fall. The main thing we want is for our members to be comfortable in a club where they can relax, perhaps go to locations they might not have been to before but will be fun and exciting.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN COACHES FOR CHRIST

RMC4C offers members the opportunity for fellowship with other Christians at various RMMA and FMCA functions including our own chapter rallies and combined rallies with other Coaches for Christ chapters. We also provide prayer covering for RMMA and FMCA officers and meetings and operate our own website for current prayer requests.

VEGAS BLACKJACKS RV CLUB

Devoted to promoting a positive RVing experience, our Chapter is one of the newest chapters within the Rocky Mountain Area Region, with 27 RVs in membership and officially chartered in 2009. We are located in the southern Nevada area and our members reside in Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City, Pahrump, and Mesquite communities. Our rallies are family oriented, and guests are always welcome to join in on the fun. Our rallies are held monthly from October through May with each member sharing in on the Wagon master role in selecting outing location and activities. During the month of December, we celebrate the holidays with a social function and gift exchange. We have designed our rallies around a theme of promoting fellowship, fun activities, learning, good food and entertainment. Additionally, we enjoy site seeing and exploring new and exciting locations. If you are new to the RVing experience or well-seasoned, we invite you join us on one of our rallies to join in on the excitement.
